Sees one go
Livakovic made no saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Ghana.
Analysis: Livakovic failed to record a save on Saturday, conceding once in the match against Ghana. He ends the group stage with one clean sheet, having faced 15 shots and making eight saves while allowing three goals, one of which came from the penalty spot. The Round of 32 will present a different challenge, as Croatia now meet Portugal on Thursday, a side that scored five goals in the group stage, all against eliminated Uzbekistan. The level of attacking quality he will face next is expected to be significantly higher.
Keeps clean sheet Tuesday
Livakovic registered one save and secured a clean sheet in Tuesday's 1-0 victory versus Panama.
Analysis: After a very busy match versus England in the opener, Livakovic had a much simpler day against Panama. He was only truly tested during one stretch in the second half, but came up big for his nation. He made a diving save to stop Amir Murillo's strike in the 68th minute, then parried the ball out for a corner when Murillo followed up with another attempt. On the ensuing corner, he pushed a wide-open header over the goal, preventing a Panamanian equalizer for the third time in a minute. Other than that stretch he didn't have much to do on his way to his third clean sheet in his World Cup career. Next up is a massive matchup versus Ghana on Saturday, a must-win match for Croatia to finish second in the group.
