Beaten twice in Croatia game
Asare had two saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 loss versus Croatia.
Analysis: Asara had a brilliant save on a clear-cut attempt by Mario Pasalic but gave up two goals, on a surgical strike by Petar Sucic and a very angled header by Nikola Vlasic, who was unguarded on a corner kick. He hadn't conceded in his previous two appearances, one of which was off the bench. He has made eight saves so far. Up next, Croatia will face Portugal on Thursday.
Registers clean sheet
Asare registered three saves and allowed zero goals in Tuesday's 0-0 draw against England.
Analysis: Asare produced a composed performance to help Ghana earn a valuable clean sheet. He made three saves, including one from inside the box. He prevented 0.37 goals (xG) and handled England's aerial threat confidently and also made a clearance. He now has two clean sheets this World Cup.
