Signs permanently for Fulham
Kusi-Asare has joined Fulham permanently from Bayern Munich, signing a five-year contract with a club option for a further 12 months, the club announced.
Analysis: Kusi-Asare made 10 first-team appearances last season after joining on loan, while proving prolific for the U21 side with four goals in just five appearances, averaging a goal every 92 minutes. Kusi-Asare expressed his happiness at committing his future to the club, describing the dressing room and overall environment as feeling like family since his first week, while owner Tony Khan praised his talent and potential as he looks forward to the youngster's development at Craven Cottage.
Out with knee problem
Kusi-Asare is out for Sunday's game against Newcastle United due to a knee injury, according to manager Marco Silva. "Small problem for JKA in his knee. He's out."
Analysis: Kusi-Asare won't suit up in his final game of the loan spell, and he's slated to return to Bayern Munich for preseason ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. Kusi-Asare was limited to just seven bench appearances and 49 total minutes in the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
