Provides midfield energy

Moutoussamy had one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Colombia.

Analysis: Moutoussamy registered one cross, one interception, two tackles (two won) and three fouls committed across his 82 minutes in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Colombia, operating as a box-to-box midfielder who covered significant ground and combined defensive work with occasional involvement in DR Congo's attacking transitions before being replaced by Nathanael Mbuku. The midfielder completed 22 passes and contributed consistently to his side's pressing effort, winning the ball back in dangerous areas on multiple occasions before Colombia's quality in possession ultimately wore down DR Congo's compact defensive structure. His energy, tackling ability and work rate from central midfield make him one of DR Congo's most important players heading into the Uzbekistan fixture, where a winning performance will be essential to keeping his side's knockout stage ambitions alive.
