Dishes out assist in Croatia tilt
Nuamah assisted once to go with one cross (one accurate), two tackles (zero won) and two chances created in 19 minutes in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Croatia.
Analysis: Nuamah had a strong shift off the bench, outproducing several starters and finding Derrick Luckassen with a precise free kick from distance to set up the temporary equalizer. He hadn't played in the second game after being quiet despite starting in the opener, drawing just one foul in 58 minutes. He came in for Jordan Ayew in this one.
Quiet in World Cup opener
Nuamah won two duels in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Panama.
Analysis: Nuamah started on the right side of Ghana's attack in Wednesday's World Cup opener, but failed to make any impact on the match. He didn't produce anything on the attack and only attempted 10 passes throughout his time on the pitch. He was subbed off in the 58th minute for Abdul Fatawu who was able to be much more effective despite it being his first match in eight months due to a knee injury. Nuamah is at risk of losing his place in the starting XI for Ghana's next match versus England on Tuesday as the team will need to be efficient and decisive on the attack to get anything out of that match.
